NASTY! explores the notion of the ‘nasty’ in relation to horror films, examining the transmorphic nature of the genre, its relation to the screen, gendered politics and censorship in contemporary debate. The exhibition brings together a group of interdisciplinary artists and cinephiles who celebrate the academic study of the horror film and its relevance to contemporary culture.
